Join us for an exciting day of adventure and fun at the Graffiti Days Poker Run! This event is open to everyone and provides a unique way to explore Cache Creek and Area. Participants will travel to various checkpoints to collect cards and build their best poker hand, with the event concluding at the Cache Creek Visitor Information Centre with a BBQ and the announcement of winners.

How It Works:

Travel to Checkpoints: Participants will start at the Cache Creek Visitor Information Centre and travel to designated checkpoints in Cache Creek and area.
Collect Cards: At each checkpoint, participants will collect a card to build their poker hand.
Build Your Best Hand: Return to the Cache Creek Visitor Information Centre by 1:30 PM to present your collected cards.
BBQ and Prizes: Enjoy a BBQ starting at 1:30 PM and stay for the announcement of winners after the BBQ. Participants must be present to win.

Registration and Fees:

Preregistration Package ($40): Includes 1 Poker Hand, Desert Mesa Poker Run Shirt, 1 Raffle Ticket, and BBQ Ticket and is available until September 10th, 2024. Pre-registration is available at the Cache Creek Visitor Information Centre or online.
BBQ, raffle tickets, shirts, and poker hands will be available for purchase on the day of the event.:

How to Get Yours:

Preregistration Package: When you preregister for the Poker Run, you receive a shirt as part of the package for $40. This package also includes 1 Poker Hand, a Raffle Ticket, and a Free BBQ.
Individual Purchase: Shirts are also available for purchase individually for $30 each while quantities last on the day of the event.

Desert Mesa Club Poker Run Rules

Event Date: September 14th

Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Starting Point: Cache Creek Visitor Information Centre

1. Eligibility:

- The Poker Run is open to all participants.

- Participants must preregister by September 10th to be eligible for the preregistration package.

2. Registration:

- Preregistration package ($40) includes 1 Poker Hand, Shirt, Raffle Ticket, and Free BBQ.

- Additional items can be purchased the day of the event starting at 930 am: T-shirt ($30), BBQ ($5), Raffle Tickets ($5), and each Poker Hand ($5).

3. Event Format:

- Participants will travel to designated checkpoints in Cache Creek, Clinton, and Ashcroft.

- At each checkpoint, participants will collect a card to build their poker hand.

- Checkpoints must be visited by 1:00 PM on the day of the event.

- Participants must return to the Cache Creek Visitor Information Centre by 1:30 PM to present their collected cards.

4. Winning Hands:

- The BBQ will start at 1:30 PM, followed by the announcement of winners after the BBQ.

- Prizes will be awarded to the participants with the best poker hands. 1st place is 50% of the poker hand pot, 2nd place is 30% and 3rd place is 20%. In the event of a tie, the winners from each placing will be selected by random draw to establish the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

- Participants must be present to win.

5. BBQ and Raffle:

- The event will conclude with a BBQ at the Cache Creek Visitor Information Centre starting at 1:15 PM.

- Participants who preregister will receive a free BBQ meal as part of their package.

- Additional BBQ meals can be purchased for $5 each.

- Raffle tickets are available for $5 each, and prizes will be drawn during the BBQ. You do not need to be present to win the raffle.

6. Conduct:

- Participants are expected to follow all traffic laws and event guidelines.

- Respectful behavior towards other participants, volunteers, and the community is required.

7. Safety:

- Safety is a priority. Please ensure that you are aware of your surroundings and travel safely between checkpoints.

- Any unsafe behavior may result in disqualification from the event.

8. Cancellation:

- The event will proceed rain or shine. In the case of extreme weather conditions, the event may be rescheduled.

- No refunds will be issued for preregistration or purchased items.

9. Poker Run Shirts:

- Shirts and sizes are available in limited quantities, please check back regularly for restock of shirts.
